The Leipzig Acoustic Jazz Group made three appearances in St. Louis on April 22 and 23, 2013. Monday morning they paid a visit to Lindbergh High School where they appeared before over 100 music and German students. Several Lindbergh students joined in for a terrific jam session. That evening, the group appeared at the Tavern of Fine Arts in a cool program of contemporary jazz. The next morning, they travelled to Fort Zumwalt North to do a session with the FZN Jazz band, with German students in the audience. The Leipzig group performed several of their own compositions, and then joined in with the outstanding Jazz Band in an amazing, impromptu session.
